Jacques brings more than 15 years of expertise in medical device sales, marketing, and commercial strategy. She joins the company at an exciting time, as Arbutus Medical starts scaling up commercially.
Jacques is currently AVP, Commercialization & Strategy at Boston Scientific Corporation, a Fortune 500 manufacturer of medical devices used in rhythm management, endoscopy, neuromodulation, peripheral interventions, and urology/pelvic health. This role follows a very successful 15 years in sales leadership at Baylis Medical where she was responsible for building and scaling the US business. The strategic plans that Jacques put in place at Baylis Medical allowed the company to have high double-digit sales growth for several years in a row. This, combined with her work in market development, were key to becoming the standard-of-care in left heart access in the US. The company’s success led to the acquisition by Boston Scientific for USD $1.75 Billion in 2022.
Jacques’ addition to Arbutus Medical’s Board strengthens the company’s governance and brings commercial expertise to accelerate growth. Having recently closed a round of financing, and with a year-on-year growth rate over 200%, Arbutus Medical is in a position to rapidly establish a market leadership position in skeletal traction and continue expanding a product portfolio that streamlines orthopaedic surgery for the good of patients worldwide.

She is a member of Chief, a private network for senior executive women to strengthen their leadership and influence, and help others do the same. Jacques is also a member of the Cardiology Inclusion Council at Boston Scientific Corporation.
